All of our Merino/Rambouillet yarn is classified as fine wool, which can stretch farther than other wool when spun. This superior spin count offers more yardage for the same amount of fiber weight – up to 450 yards to a skein. Full and airy, our fingering weight yarn acts like sport weight, offering a lofty, full texture when knitted or crocheted. It’s ideal for socks, baby items, mittens, hats and even Fair Isle patterns. It’s also perfect for creating shawls and wraps with a bit more substance.
